This robust and comprehensive 1-day course will give the attendee a complete didactic and hands on experience that will build a strong foundation for implementation of high-resolution diagnostic ultrasound into their practice. Even practitioners with extensive experience in sonography will benefit as the course is designed for all levels of experience in sonography—from beginner to expert.

The attendee, upon completion of this one-day course will be able to perform multiple anatomical site interpretation of ultrasound imaging, and interpretation of normal versus pathologic conditions and be able to construct tailored treatment plans for patients. The following anatomical sites will be emphasized:

  1. Forefoot Pathology including plantar plate injuries, cysts, bursae, and fat pad mechanics
  2. Plantar Fascia: normatives, staging and grading of plantar fasciopathy, dynamics of the inferior calcaneal fat pad
  3. Achilles Tendon: normatives, dynamic evaluation of the posterior calcaneal bursa
  4. Ankle Joint Pathology: ATFL, Deltoid Ligament, Performance of Arthrocentesis
  5. Lower extremity peripheral nerve diagnostic ultrasound guided blocks: The Phoenix Sign
  6. Vascular analysis with Doppler and Waveform interpretation for change pre and post nerve blocks
  7. MSK Intralesional treatment with peptides: BPC-157
