Dr. Scholz is the CEO of Infectolab-Americas. He previously served as Head of the Department of Immunology with an international lab in Wisconsin overseeing their Research and Development Department.
He has spearheaded numerous infectious disease and allergy testing projects and is an expert in assay platforms such as ELISPOT, ELISA, and Flow cytometry.
Dr. Scholz completed a Bachelor of Science in Germany in 2002 and a PhD in Cell Biology at the University of Kiel, Germany in 2006. He completed his Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota (Department of Nephrology) between 2008-2009 where he was an integral part of their research department. He then pursued his Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Center for Immunology at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Scholz has received numerous awards and grants from the University of Kiel, Germany and the University of Minnesota. He currently has six publications in peer-reviewed journals and six first-author presentations (oral and posters) at national and international conferences.
Dr. Scholz’s passion is research and development. He is dedicated to continuous growth in the field of immunology leading to improvements in the detection
and treatment of modern-day infection.
